I am a pretty typical farm wife and mom. I’ve got a college degree I hope I never need to use, and I homeschool a couple of handsome young men. When I’m not homeschooling or sewing, I’m helping out on our growing farm.
My supporting cast:
My husband, the farmer. He keeps me sane and on the straight and narrow, and is an all-around great guy. 🙂 He’s also my partner in crimes against home improvement.
The Eldest; (AKA “Irish”). My oldest son is a teenager now (HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!?!), and is driving (Again, HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!). He’s my future farmer. Or train engineer. Currently full of moodiness and attitude, so chocolate and prayers appreciated.
The Youngest, (AKA “Scotch”). Possessing an infectious smile, and the kind of personality that makes everyone like him, this kid is the one who makes everyone happy. Or at least he has that power, when he chooses to use it. 😉 He is also very interested in farming and trains, but also enjoys hanging out in the woodshop and learning about the tools.
Hopefully, you’ll follow me on my adventures of sewing, bitching, home improvement, farming, homeschooling, and life in general. 🙂
